MEET YOUR HEALTH-TECH ADVISOR
Healthcare technology needs an operator in the room
I help healthcare technology companies evaluate their products, positioning, workflows, andimplementation assumptions through the eyes of the organizations they are trying to serve.
After 28 years inside healthcare operations, I understand what executives need to see before they buy, what teams need before they adopt, and what can cause a promising product to fail once it enters a real organization
For founders, product teams, growth leaders, and healthcare technology companies preparing to pilot, sell, implement, or scale.
THE GAP NOBODY SEES
The product may work.
The assumptions around it may not.
The healthcare technology companies I work with are often exceptional at identifying a problem and building something to address it.
The breakdown almost always happens in the space between the product and the organization expected to use it.
The buyer may not be the user. The department that benefits may not control the budget. The workflow functions differently across specialties, locations, and teams than it did in the discovery conversation. Implementation requires behavioral, operational, and leadership changes that were never included in the original plan.
A product can be technically strong and still create more work, miss the real decision-maker, disrupt an existing process, or fail to earn the trust of the people expected to use it every day.
These are not secondary details. They determine whether a product gets purchased, implemented, adopted, expanded, or quietly abandoned after the pilot.
I have been on both sides of that outcome. I know what the difference looks like before it happens.
THE PROVIDER-SIDE PERSPECTIVE
I have worked inside the organizations you are trying to reach.
I am not evaluating your technology from the outside. I have spent 28 years working across healthcare operations at every level. Hospital leadership. Physician relations. Pharmaceutical sales. Service line development. Revenue cycle. Practice growth. Staff development. Clinical workflow.
I have worked directly with surgeons, executives, providers, administrators, clinical teams, billing teams, and frontline staff. I have overseen 23 operating rooms and seven departments responsible for moving one patient safely through the full surgical experience. I have rebuilt a primary care practice from the inside out and created systems that continued to function after I stepped away.
I understand how healthcare leaders think, how frontline teams respond, and how decisions are actually made inside complex organizations. That perspective surfaces the operational risks, adoption barriers, buyer concerns, and implementation gaps that never come up inside a traditional product or sales conversation.
"Technology does not fix a broken workflow. It amplifies it."
WHERE I ADD VALUE
I look at the product through the entire healthcare system.
A technology product does not enter a single department in isolation. It enters a connected system of people, processes, responsibilities, budgets, competing priorities, and patient needs. My work focuses on the areas most likely to determine whether the product succeeds or stalls.
Why a Clinical Advisor Is Not Enough
Most health-tech companies already have a clinical advisor. A physician or specialist who can speak to whether the product addresses a real clinical problem. That perspective matters.
What it cannot provide is the full picture.
A provider sees one specialty. One workflow. One corner of the system. They can tell you whether clinicians will find the product useful. They cannot tell you whether the front desk will adopt it, whether the billing team will integrate it, whether the administrator will prioritize it, or whether the implementation will survive contact with the operational reality of a real practice.
I have worked across every layer of that system. Clinical. Operational. Administrative. Financial. Revenue cycle. Staff management. Executive leadership. I understand how a change in one area creates friction in three others. I understand how decisions are made at every level, not just the clinical one.
That is what I bring that a provider advisor cannot. Not a clinical opinion on the product. A complete operational read on whether the product can actually live inside the organizations you are selling it to.
LET'S LOOK AT WHAT YOU ARE BUILDING
Before you scale the product, pressure-test the assumptions.
Tell me what you are building, where you are in the process, and what you want to understand, improve, or solve. I will review your information and follow up if the opportunity aligns with Zentara's Health-Tech Advisory work.
